Our Programme


Our program is based upon 5-6 week courses, whereby you will learn relaxing yoga postures specially adapted for the water, gentle cardio sequences that tone your body and breathing exercises to prepare you for childbirth. 

Throughout the course, we will teach you a combination of yoga and water workout  moves, along with breathing and pelvic floor exercises.

At 37 Weeks, you are welcome to sign up again or pay on a weekly basis if you are near to your due date.  In some locations we also offer baby swimming lessons, so you can carry on enjoying the water with your new baby.  (See www.littlesplashers.co.uk).

In a typical class you will start with a gentle warm up, whereby we ask if anyone has any special attention areas or problems.  You will find our classes great fun with our easy to follow water sequences.  In fact, moving around in the water you simply forget about everything and everyone around you.  Giving you a mental break and total focus on your body. 

Throughout the course, we will teach you a combination of yoga and water workout  moves, along with breathing and pelvic floor exercises.. (With hand out sheets and homework for those who want it!)  Focus on breathing during pregnancy is important, as it helps to bring more oxygen to the lungs, making space for your growing baby and of course not to mention, is great preparation for pain reduction in labour.  At the end of our classes, we finish with a series of relaxation sequences and yoga poses to leave you feeling refreshed, toned and revitalised.
